Key partners

Together with key partners we have undertaken significant developmental work on the North East Strategy.

We have focused on putting in place governance arrangements that have enabled the region to be well positioned and to move forward with the formal phases from 1 April 2010.

These governance arrangements were set out in the North East England Change Management Programme, which was submitted to the Government in March 2009.

We have been continuing to engage with our key partners through the Futures work and have had some useful discussions with a wide range of organisations from across all sectors.  This programme of work is vital and we value the input from all partners.
